Q: What are Nuggies?

A: Nuggies are our delectably cosy winter boots designed to look like Macca’s® iconic Chicken McNuggets®.

Q: What is #BootPursuit?

A: Of the four Chicken McNugget® shapes, the boot was crowed the ultimate dipper. And so, in honour of a dipping icon, Nuggies are back for a limited time only! For a chance to win a pair of exclusive, limited-edition Nuggies, #BootPursuit requires customers to find and scan a boot-shaped Chicken McNugget®.

Q: How long does the Nuggies #BootPursuit competition run for?

A: The Nuggies #BootPursuit competition commences at 09:00 AEST 17 July, 2024 and closes at 17:00 AEST 6 August, 2024.

Q: How do I enter the competition?

A: Purchase a 6, 10, 20, 24 or 40-piece box of Chicken McNuggets® and scan the QR code on the packaging. This will take you to a web-page where you can scan your real-life boot-shaped Chicken McNugget® to enter the competition (no bells, balls or bones will be accepted). Then, simply complete the entry form for a chance to win a pair of Nuggies!

Q: What is the minimum age for entry?

A: You must be over the age of 15 to enter the Nuggies #BootPursuit competition. For entrants between the ages of 15 and 18, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to be eligible for entry.

Q: How do I know if I’ve won?

A: Winners will be notified via email within one (1) week of the draw. Entrants are responsible for having ongoing access to their nominated email address.

Q: How will I get my prize?

A: Winners will be contacted via an email requesting personal identification details and residential address. Your Nuggies will be delivered to your nominated home address.

Q: Is the competition valid for in-restaurant, kiosk, drive-thru and McDelivery® purchases of Chicken McNuggets®?

A: Yes! All packaging of 6, 10, 20, 24 and 40-piece Chicken McNuggets® across in-restaurant, kiosk, drive-thru and McDelivery® orders will feature the QR code. Please note that Happy Meal purchases of Chicken McNuggets® will not be eligible for entry, as the competition is only open to those aged 15 years and over. Sorry, kids.

Q: What sizes of Nuggies are available?

A: Nuggies come in Small, Medium and Large. The size breakdown is:

• Size S (W8/M7)
• Size M (W10/M9)
• Size L (W12/M11)

Please note that due to the exclusive, limited-edition nature of the boots, specific sizing requests cannot be guaranteed. Your sizing request will be accommodated to the closest alternative in the event of low stock.

Q: Can I enter the competition multiple times?

A: Yep! You can enter multiple times for multiple entries into the prize draw. Just note that each boot-shaped Chicken McNugget® can only be scanned once per eligible Chicken McNugget® purchase. However, each additional purchase entitles you to an additional entry into the competition, provided an entry form is completed.

Q: Am I guaranteed a boot-shaped Chicken McNugget® in my order?

A: The odds of a boot-shaped Chicken McNugget® in your order during the #BootPursuit promotion are identical to the odds of finding one on any other day.

Q: Can I specifically request a boot-shaped Chicken McNugget®?

A: As much as we would love to, no special requests for boot-shaped Chicken McNuggets® will be accommodated in-restaurant, drive-thru or McDelivery®.

Q: Do I win free Chicken McNuggets® with my Nuggies?

A: We’re afraid not. Winners of the Nuggies #BootPursuit competition will be awarded one (1) pair of Macca’s® Nuggies boots in their nominated size. Chicken McNuggets® do not form part of the Nuggies #BootPursuit competition prize… but you could celebrate winning by ordering some.
