A: Log in to your existing MyMacca’s account and tap on the prompts inside the MyMacca’s App to launch the Monopoly game. If you do not have a MyMacca’s account, then follow the prompts to create a MyMacca’s account, log in, and then navigate to the Monopoly Game at Macca’s.

 

Q: Do I have to sign up to participate in the promotion?

A: While food prizes won from peeled game Plays can be redeemed at any participating Australian McDonald’s restaurant (excluding WA & TAS), all other actions requires you to download the MyMacca’s App, create a MyMacca’s account, and opt in to play the Monopoly Game at Macca’s.

 

Q: How do I access the Monopoly Game at Macca’s?

A: The Monopoly Game at Macca’s can only be accessed through the MyMacca’s App. You can access the Monopoly game by tapping on the game banner at the top of the home page of the MyMacca’s App. You can also access the game by tapping on “More” on the bottom of the app’s navigation, and then tapping on “Monopoly”.

 

Q: Do I need to allow the MyMacca’s App to send me push notifications?

A: Push notifications are not required, however allowing them will ensure you stay up to date with the Monopoly Game at Macca’s.

 

Q: Who can participate in the Monopoly Game at Macca’s promotion?

A: The promotion is open to Australian residents aged 15 years and older as at the time of entry. If you are aged less than 18 years old, you must obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion.

How to Play

Q: How do I play?

A: Purchase one (1) or more eligible products from a McDonald’s restaurant while eligible products are available for sale in that McDonald’s restaurant. Carefully remove the Monopoly game Play attached on packaging to reveal a promotional message – either an INSTANT WIN message, a Collect-to-Win message, or a Chance Card message. Peeled game Plays can then be scanned in the Monopoly game on the MyMacca’s App.

 

Q: What is Double Play?

A: In addition to a single physical game play attached to eligible items, some products will have an additional game Play (a ‘Double Play’) that can be revealed in the Monopoly game on the MyMacca’s app. Simply scan your physical game Play in the app to unlock your second game Play digitally in the Monopoly game.

 

Q: What are MyMacca’s App Exclusive items?

A: In addition to items with a physical game Play, this year there are additional items eligible for one or two digital-only game Plays when ordered using the MyMacca’s app. As these Plays are exclusive to the MyMacca’s app, no physical Plays will be attached to packaging.

 

Q: Can I receive game Plays for MyMacca’s App Exclusive items ordered via McDelivery?

A: Order using McDelivery via the MyMacca’s app to receive digital Plays for app exclusive items ordered. Due to technical limitations, you are unable to receive tickets for app exclusive items ordered via Uber Eats, DoorDash or Menulog.

 

Q: What is a Chance Card?

A: Chance Cards are a type of ticket found on eligible packaging and must be scanned in the MyMacca’s App for a 1 in 4 chance to win.

 

Q: What is the Chest?

A: The Chest is a feature in the Monopoly game on the MyMacca’s App. To open and unlock the Chest, you need to scan or receive game Plays that feature a property. For every 5 properties received, you will have the opportunity to open the Chest and win a prize! There are no combos or specific colours required. Every property counts regardless of whether it is scanned, or is received through a Chance Card game. During the promotion you can open the Chest up to a maximum of 6 times.

 

Q: How do I obtain a game board?

A: Download the MyMacca’s App and go to the Monopoly Game at Macca’s to play & scan your physical game Plays onto the virtual gameboard. You can also ask a Crew Member or Manager from participating McDonald's restaurants, while stocks last.

 

Q: What are the dates of the promotion?

A: The promotion starts at 00:01 (Sydney Time) on 4 September 2024 and ends at 23:59 (Sydney Time) on 27 October 2024 (the “Promotional Period”). Eligible Products may be purchased between 00:01 (local time) on 4 September 2024 and 23:59 (local time) on 22 October 2024 (inclusive) (the “Purchase Period”).

A: Food prizes won from peeled game Plays can be redeemed at any participating Australian McDonald’s restaurant. Simply hand over your winning game Play to a crew member when ordering.

 

Q: How do I redeem digital Food prizes?

A:

1. Open the Monopoly Game at Macca’s within the MyMacca’s app.
2. Locate your desired prize that you wish to claim within your STASH & tap “REDEEM” when prompted.
3. You will then be taken to the ordering section of the MyMacca’s app where you can choose to claim your prize either via a Mobile Order (it will appear in your bag) or in restaurant using your code displayed in the MyMacca’s app.

 

Q: Can I redeem Food prizes via McDelivery?

A: Unfortunately, Food prizes cannot be redeemed through McDelivery.

 

Q: How do I redeem Non-Food or Collect-to-Win prizes?

A: These prizes cannot be claimed at McDonalds restaurants. Entrants must register and claim them through the Monopoly game on the MyMacca’s App.

 

Q: What happens to my physical or digital game Plays if I do not make a prize claim during the promotional period?

A: Instant win Non-Food and Collect-to-Win prizes that are not claimed within the promotional period will be forfeited.

 

Q: Do I need to retain my physical game Plays to claim a prize?

A: Yes, it is important that you keep your physical game Play(s) as you will require them to make a prize claim in the promotion. All major prize winners are subject to verification by the Promoter.

 

Q: Can I transfer, sell, swap, or trade my physical game Plays?

A: No. All game Plays cannot be transferred by you, to any other person, whether by gift, sale, or otherwise. Game Plays that have been transferred are invalid and therefore, a prize claim that includes any game Plays that have been transferred are invalid.

 

Q: Where do I find my unique game Play code?

A: Your unique game Play code is a 12-digit alphanumeric code located inside physical game Plays, just underneath the prize details.

 

Q: Can I use my unique game Play code to submit more than one claim?

A: No. A unique game Play code cannot be used to submit more than one claim.

Q: Can I swap my prize for something else?

A: No. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.

A: Physical Instant Win Food prizes can be redeemed instantly at a participating McDonald’s restaurant. All other prizes must be claimed by following the steps listed in the Monopoly game on the MyMacca’s app. If required, winners may also be notified via phone or email after submitting a claim form in the Monopoly game on the MyMacca’s App for select prizes.
