Q: When does the promotion start and finish?

A: Surprize Fries begins on Wednesday, 5th March 2025. The promotion officially ends on Tuesday 1st April 2025, and the last date to redeem any food prizes is Sunday 6th April 2025.
 

Q: How do I Play Surprize Fries?

A: Surprize Fries is available through the MyMacca’s App and allows you to scan, stash, and redeem tickets on your smartphone device. There are prompts to launch Surprize Fries from inside the MyMacca’s App. Click here to find out more about the MyMacca’s app.

Tickets will be attached to Eligible Product packaging and will be randomly distributed. Each Ticket will contain a twelve (12) digit alphanumeric unique code listed above the ‘Redeem By’ date on the bottom of the Ticket. On Double Ticketed products, you will need to scan your first ticket to reveal the 2nd in-app virtual ticket. There are three (3) types of Tickets: “Instant Win Food” Tickets; “Instant Win Non-Food” Tickets; “Game Code” Tickets; and Contingency card INSTANT WIN TICKET: FOOD PRIZE This is an instant win food prize & should be redeemed at a McDonald's before end date of Sunday 6^th April 2025. Physical Tickets should be handed over to a crew member at a participating McDonald’s Restaurant to redeem the food item. Electronic Tickets, once scanned, can be claimed by opening the Application on their Compatible Mobile Device and following the prompts in the manner required to select the relevant Ticket in their Virtual Wallet; by clicking the “redeem” button. INSTANT WIN TICKET: NON-FOOD PRIZE Winning an Instant Win Non-Food Ticket entitles the Entrant, to claim the corresponding prize referenced on the ticket. To claim, correctly and successfully follow the directions provided in the manner required, by selecting the “REDEEM” button for the relevant Instant Win Non-Food Prize in the App and obtaining the Unique Prize Code for that Instant Win Non-Food Prize; and selecting the link to “CLAIM PRIZE” via the App (as applicable) to be redirected to the website of the relevant Promotional Partner CREATA (the “Promotional Partner Website”) and submitting the Unique Prize Code for the relevant Instant Win Non-Food Prize and all other details requested via the Promotional Partner Website, including, where applicable, the Entrant’s first and last name, date of birth, telephone number, postal address, residential address and current and valid email address and, where applicable, agree to the relevant Promotional Partner’s prevailing Terms & Conditions for the relevant Instant Win Non-Food Prize. For any Entrant under the age of 18, details of the Entrant’s parent or legal guardian and confirmation of consent must also be provided. GAME CODE / CONTINGENCY CARD If the Ticket contains the Game Code messaging, the Ticket is a Game Code Ticket. The Game Code Ticket entitles the Entrant to play one (1) of two (2) available promotional games (the “App Game”) on the Application in order to reveal a digital Instant Win Ticket or Weekly Cash Draw entry (each an “Electronic Ticket”). Q: I already have the McDonald’s app, what does this mean for me?

A: From 4th March, Surprize Fries will be live on the MyMacca’s app. If you go to the Surprize Fries page on your app, you will be promoted to register and accept the terms & conditions. After registering & accepting the T&C’s, you can play Surprize Fries from March 5th.
 

Q: How can I Sign Up?

A: Log in to your existing MyMacca’s account and tap on the prompts inside the MyMacca’s App to launch Surprize Fries. If you do not have a MyMacca’s account, then follow the prompts to create a MyMacca’s account, log in, and then navigate to the Surprize Fries game at Macca’s.
 

Q: Do I have to Sign Up to participate in the promotion?

A: Food prizes won from peeled game Plays can be redeemed at any participating Australian McDonald’s restaurant. Double Play & redemption of Non-Food prizes, plus entry into the Second Chance Draw requires you to download the MyMacca’s App and create a MyMacca’s account.
 

Q: Is the MyMacca’s App free?

A: Yes, you can download the MyMacca’s App free of charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
 

Q: What phone or minimum system requirements is needed?

A: The minimum system requirements for the Application are iOS 15.0 or above (for Apple devices) and Android 8.0 or above (for Android devices). It is important to note that for some older phones, whilst the software version is above iOS 15.0 or Android 8.0, the device hardware may not support all functions of the Application.
 

Q: How do I redeem a prize?

A: All tickets should be entered into the MyMacca’s app to ensure entry into the Second Chance Draw. Instant Win Food Prizes can be redeemed in store, but all other prizes must be redeemed via the app. If you are receiving an error when trying to enter your code, please be advised of the following: If redeeming a prize on our third party site, the unique code you require is not the code on your Surprize Fries game token, it is the one that displays when you select redeem button in your stash. Q: Can I swap my prize for something else?

A: No. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
 

Q: Can I redeem Food prizes via McDelivery®?

A: Unfortunately, Food prizes cannot be redeemed through McDelivery®.
 

Q: How do I redeem Non-Food prizes?

A: These prizes cannot be claimed at McDonalds restaurants. Entrants must register and claim them through the Surprize Fries section on the MyMacca’s App.
 

Q: What happens to my physical or digital game Plays if I do not make a prize claim during the promotional period?

A: Instant win Non-Food prizes that are not claimed within the promotional period will be forfeited.
 

Q: Do I need to retain my physical game Plays to claim a prize?

A: Yes, it is important that you keep your physical game Play(s) as you will require them to make a prize claim in the 2025 Surprize Fries promotion. All major prize winners are subject to verification by the Promoter.
 

Q: Can I transfer, sell, swap, or trade my physical game Plays?

A: No. All game Plays cannot be transferred by you, to any other person, whether by gift, sale, or otherwise. Game Plays that have been transferred are invalid and therefore, a prize claim that includes any game Plays that have been transferred are invalid.
 

Q: What is the Weekly Cash Draw and how do I enter?

A: If after receiving a Game Code Play, an Entrant is not a winner of an Instant Win Food or Instant Win Non-Food prize, they will receive a Weekly Cash Draw Play via the Application. The Application will give the Entrant an automatic entry into a Weekly Cash Prize Draw. The first one (1) Entry randomly drawn from all eligible Entries received in the corresponding Weekly Promotional Stage will win AUD$10,000.00 in cash that will be paid by the Promoter by electronic funds transfer to the winners nominated Australian bank account.
 

Q: What is the Second Chance Draw and how do I enter?

A: You are able to enter the Second Chance Draw by scanning in all of your tickets. The more tickets you scan into the app, the more automatic entries will go into the draw for you. All unclaimed prizes valued at over $100 will be entered into the draw which will take place on 13th May 2025. If any prize(s) in the Second Chance Draw remain(s) unclaimed by 26th July 2025, the Promoter will conduct a further draw at the same time and place as the Second Chance Draw on 14th August 2025. All winners will be notified in writing.
