Collect them all before they head back to Santa’s workshop

18 November 2024: Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, Aussies are in for a joyous treat this festive season with the debut of The Elf on the Shelf Happy Meal at Macca’s, in partnership with The Lumistella Company, home to the storytelling world of The Elf on the Shelf Santaverse.

From this Wednesday 20 November, Macca’s is unwrapping the holiday magic for Aussies with 10 The Elf on the Shelf Santaverse plush toy characters, or two The Elf on the Shelf books to collect with the purchase of a Happy Meal.

And, the feel-good festivities don’t stop there! Families and collectors can take part in a cheeky Scout Elf hunt across Macca’s restaurants nationwide, simply head to your local Macca’s and find the elf with the QR code, scan to enter the draw and win exclusive The Elf on the Shelf prizes*, with entries opening 20 November.

Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director for McDonald’s Australia, said: “For the first time ever in Australia, the cult Christmas tradition of The Elf on the Shelf, that has captured the hearts of families around the world, will be flying into Macca’s for the holiday season.

“Christmas is such a joyous time for both kids and adults alike. We know that the tradition of The Elf on the Shelf brings thousands of families together every year, and our series of playful and lovable elves with their adorable friends from Santa’s North Pole are sure to deliver holiday fun and Macca’s feel-good moments and memories to everyone.

“But you’ll have to get in quick - Santa’s little helpers won’t be here for long, with Happy Meal available for a limited time before they head home to the North Pole.”

The Elf on the Shelf Santaverse plush toy characters include four Scout Elves, three Elf Mates and three Elf Pets, each featuring a handy loop allowing them to double not only as a bespoke festive themed Happy Meal toy, but also as a wonderful Christmas decoration and keepsake for years to come.

The elves that everyone wants on their shelves will be arriving at Macca’s restaurants nationwide for festive fun from Wednesday 20 November to Wednesday 25 December, while stock lasts and are available across Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s App and McDelivery.
