Fan favourite Pokémon Happy Meal returns to Macca’s

With new Match Battle game available exclusively for McDonald’s customers

23 September 2022, Australia: Get ready to battle! The new Pokémon Match Battle Happy Meal will be available in all Aussie McDonald’s restaurants from Friday, 23 September.

For a limited time only, fans who purchase a Happy Meal will receive everything they need to stage a Pokémon Match Battle with friends, including four official Pokémon Trading Card Game cards, a spinner, coin, and instructions.

With 12 Pokémon Trading Card Game sets up for grabs, Aussies will be able to collect fan favourites including Pikachu, Gossifleur, Rowlet, Smeargle, and more.

David Morris, Brand Manager, McDonald’s Australia, said: “Following the success of our Pokémon Happy Meal last year and in response to high demand for this new range, we are thrilled to be launching the limited-edition Pokémon Match Battle Happy Meal.”

The limited-edition Pokémon Happy Meal will be available in all Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s App and McDelivery, from Friday, 23 September until Wednesday, 2 November, while stocks last.
