Macca’s adds Chicken McWings to the permanent menu in its golden era of chicken

It’s the start of a new golden era of chicken at Macca’s with crispy, juicy Chicken McWings officially landing on the permanent menu from Wednesday 11 June.

After a sizzling trial run all over social media (ICYMI, peak chicken is upon us ), Chicken McWings will be joining other legends on the permanent menu.

We’re talking 100% Aussie, RSPCA Approved chicken wrapped in a golden, crispy coating that hits peak crisp with every single bite.

Sink your teeth into 3-piece or 5-piece Chicken McWings on its own or in a meal, for yourself or for sharing (if you’re feeling generous).

Because no wing is complete without a trusty wingman, Macca’s is serving up not one but two permanent dipping sauces to match your mood:

NEW Ranch Sauce – smooth, cool and creamy

RETURNING Spicy Buffalo Sauce – chilli, peppery and a heat that builds with every dip

Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director of Menu and Brand for McDonald’s Australia said, “It’s been a while since we have added something new to the permanent menu, but the response to Chicken McWings during the trial made it clear: Aussies want more chicken options with their order.

“Chicken McWings are now claiming their spot next to other legends like the McChicken, McSpicy, McCrispy and Chicken McNuggets. It’s the golden era of chicken at Macca’s – and we’re just getting started.”

Nectorious Papi, foodie influencer said, “There’s a lot of wings on the market, but Chicken McWings have totally won me over, and they’re even better with Ranch Sauce and Spicy Buffalo Sauce.
