Macca’s drops a big tune with an even bigger purpose with Mashd N Kutcher
06 November 2025
Macca’s is turning up the volume and spreading the good vibes for Australia’s biggest feel-good fundraising event, teaming up with Aussie hitmakers Mashd N Kutcher to drop the official soundtrack for McHappy Day 2025, on Saturday, 15 November.
Famous for their genre-blending beats and high-energy performances, Mashd N Kutcher are using their signature sound to create a big tune with an even bigger purpose: supporting families with children who are ill or injured at Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The DJ collaborated with families staying at Ronald McDonald House South Brisbane, producing a track that’s more than just music – it’s a powerful celebration of hope, happiness and community.
Mashd N Kutcher lead, Matt James shared: “Music has the power to bring people together, and that’s exactly what McHappy Day is all about. It’s a cause close to our hearts, and we wanted to contribute in a meaningful way.
“Visiting our local Ronald McDonald House to record and share a little joy with families facing tough times was unforgettable. We can’t wait to share the song next week - we hope it brings joy to everyone who hears it and inspires Aussies to head to their local Macca’s and donate this McHappy Day.”
The track officially drops next week, just in time for McHappy Day. Keep your eyes on McDonald’s Australia’s social channels for the big reveal .
Barbara Ryan, Chief Executive Officer for Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, added: “McHappy Day is about supporting families when they need it most. Partnering with Mashd N Kutcher brings that message to life in such a fun and uplifting way, reflecting the spirit of McHappy Day. This track is pure joy - a celebration of togetherness, and we can’t wait for Aussies to hear it and get involved.”
Organised by McDonald’s Australia, McHappy Day is the largest annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Since launching in 1991, McHappy Day has raised over $79 million, helping more than 69,000 families each year – but with thousands more families needing support, McHappy Day donations are more important than ever.
Supporting McHappy Day helps fund essential RMHC Programs like Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, Hospitality Carts and the Learning Program – all designed to provide families comfort, care and support when and where they need it most.
