McDonald’s teams up with Menulog to bring McDelivery to millions

8 April 2020 - McDonald’s and Menulog have today announced a new partnership that will see more than 100 McDonald’s restaurants available for online orders and delivery on Menulog.

Rolling-out over the coming weeks, these restaurants will be using Menulog’s ‘self-delivery’ option, which enables restaurants to use their own drivers,

This is the first time these restaurants will be able to offer McDelivery to local communities, giving local customers the opportunity to have their McDonald’s’ favourites delivered straight to their door. Importantly, McDelivery via Menulog will continue to be contact-free, a service both McDonald’s and Menulog have implemented across all orders.

Jen Evans, Head of Delivery at McDonald’s Australia, said: “We’re proud to be able to partner with Menulog to bring the convenience of contactless McDelivery to more people, in more locations than ever before.

Menulog’s significant experience in both self-delivery and delivery services has allowed us to quickly bring this partnership to life allowing our people to keep serving the communities we operate in.”

Menulog Managing Director, Morten Belling, said: “Needless to say we’re incredibly excited to be able to bring our 2.6 million customers some of their favourite meals from one of the world’s most iconic brands. What’s more, this new partnership is a true testament to Menulog’s foundational business model, which is to support restaurants with their own drivers to facilitate online ordering and delivery.

“As an Australian-born business, we’re passionate about helping to create a sustainable industry that benefits all - restaurants, couriers and customers - and so it’s fantastic to work with a partner like McDonald’s, who are truly aligned with this mission and committed to supporting their community.”

More than 60 McDonald’s restaurants are already live on Menulog, with more set to follow over the coming weeks in areas such as Dubbo, Bathurst, Albany, Colac and Maryborough. To learn more about McDonald’s on Menulog, visit menulog.com.au/takeaway/brands/McDonalds.
