MEET THE AUSSIE FARMERS THAT MAKES US MACCA’S
22 April 2025
Since we opened our first restaurant in Australia in 1971, we’ve been obsessed with the great quality ingredients grown by Aussie farmers across Australia. In fact, we’re so obsessed with our local ingredients, that more than 90% of the produce, products and ingredients in your Macca’s menu favourites are grown right here in our own backyard.
That includes 100% Aussie beef in all of our burgers, 100% Aussie RSPCA-Approved chicken in your McNuggets and chicken burgers, milk, wheat, eggs, crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, apples and even our famous pickles, all grown, raised and harvested by Aussie farmers.
Each year, we source around 300 million kilograms of the best Aussie produce, so our customers can enjoy our great value, great quality menu and those affordable Macca’s moments we all know and love.
Meet some of our farmers right here and learn more about how they grow and raise the ingredients behind the Big Mac, and the partnership that has helped them grow their own businesses over the many years they’ve been with Macca’s.
