McDonalds NSW & ACT fundraise for RMHC through Helping Hearts
27 March 2023
27 March 2023: Throughout the month of March, McDonald’s restaurants across NSW and ACT are raising essential funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) through selling $2 Helping Hearts.
All funds raised will help RMHC NSW and ACT* continue to support seriously ill or injured children and their families through providing access to programs such as Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats and Ronald McDonald Learning Program.
Macca’s is a Founding Partner of RMHC, raising over $61 million through McHappy Day and $9 million through 10c from every 600 mL bottle of water sold nationally.
With the help of our generous customers, McDonald’s has raised nearly $400,000 for RMHC NSW and ACT over the past two years through the Helping Hearts fundraiser.
Diana Grosmann, Market Director NSW & ACT for McDonald’s Australia said, “Every year, we are blown away by the generosity of our customers who passionately support Ronald McDonald House Charities and the work they do for seriously ill children.
“The funds raised through Helping Hearts will make a real difference to so many families across NSW and ACT – through helping to provide accommodation close to hospitals, a space for the family to come together, tutoring to help with missed schooling, and so much more.
“We know it’s a challenging time for so many people, which makes us even more grateful for our customers’ continuous support of RMHC and families across NSW and ACT.”
McDonald’s customers can purchase a Helping Heart for $2 from any NSW and ACT restaurant from March 1 – 31 2023, with all funds going directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities in NSW and ACT.
