It’s your lucky day! Macca’s legendary Shamrock Shake arrives Down Under

05 March 2025

Australia, it’s time to roll out the green carpet because the shake designed to rock your socks off has landed on our shores for the very first time.

Adored by Macca’s fans from around the world for decades, the Shamrock Shake has made its debut Down Under just in time for St Patrick’s Day.

Made with an irresistible mix of creamy, fresh milk, blended with extra special Shamrock Shake mint flavour and topped with tasty, whipped cream– you simply cannot miss this one.

The Shamrock Shake comes highly endorsed by a very special member of the McDonaldland clan - Uncle O’Grimacey!

But don’t just take our word for it - fans across the globe agree: this one is MINT!

Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director of Menu and Brand for McDonald’s Australia said, “When the Shamrock Shake makes its annual appearance across the globe, the response we get from fans here in Australia is overwhelming.”

“So now we're painting the town GREEN! Head into your local restaurant right now to give this iconic shake a go before it’s gone.”

Don’t let yourself turn green with envy by missing out, the Shamrock Shake launches on Wednesday 5 March, and is available for a limited time only, while stock lasts, in restaurant at the front counter and via kiosk, via drive thru, and through the MyMacca’s app.
